Beneficiaries are the natural or legal persons who ultimately own or control the business, and their identities are quite often hidden behind a complex ownership structure.

One of the mandatory requirements for companies is to provide information about their beneficiaries. This information contains the personal details of the beneficiaries, such as their full name, date of birth, nationality, etc. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in legal consequences.

Enterprises are obliged to timely update information on the ultimate beneficial owner and ownership structure, to notify the State Registrar within 30 working days of the changes.
