Application for not being married (certificate of marital status) is a notarized document certifying the fact of not being married at the moment or in the past. Procedure

First, the notary will be asked to present the essence of his appeal orally;
After that, the notary creates a draft of the document and provides it to the applicant for perusal;
The notary will familiarize the client with the responsibility arising from the concealment of existing obstacles to marriage registration;
The notary will check the existence of an agreement with the country of which the second party of the future marriage act is a citizen, and will determine the required form of certification (the need for apostillation);
Then the notary will prepare the appropriate application form, designed in accordance with international standards, and verify the identity of the applicant by looking at the passport data and personal identification number;
The notary issues the application form to the client in two languages - Ukrainian and the language of the country where the other party to the marriage lives;
Using the services of an interpreter or without them, the client puts his signature on two copies;
After that, the notary certifies the client's signature with the notary's signature and seal, and issues the finished document to the applicant.
